Escape to the beautiful historic quaint village of Northville located 60 miles northwest of Albany at the foothills of the Adirondack mountains. This 1819 Federal style Brick Manor House on Main St has been lovingly restored and is within walking distance to both the Great Sacandaga Lake and all of the village’s shops and restaurants. Heading straight through to the back you will find a large fully renovated kitchen with granite countertops, stainless appliances, plenty of cabinets and an island with overhang seating. In an open concept style there is a second casual sitting around a wood burning fireplace as an offshoot of the main kitchen area. Upstairs you will find a master bedroom (queen bed) with brand new ensuite bath and two other bedrooms (each with a double and twin bed) and a shared brand new hall bathroom. Outside features a spacious front porch with dining on one side and a sitting area on the other and the large fenced in backyard has a deck with gas grill, a fire pit and plenty of parking for multiple vehicles including boats/recreational vehicles. Kayakers, boaters and jet skiers are able to launch their water crafts at the Northville Boat Launch which is less than a mile from the house. Edinburgh Marina & Powersports does boat rentals. Sacandaga Outdoor Center - Rental and Kayak Shop is also a place to rent kayaks. There is a public beach less than a mile away for swimming. For those who like horse racing, gambling and attending concerts. Saratoga is about 40 minutes from Northville. Hiking opportunities: Groff Creek Falls, West Stony Creek Falls, Auger Falls and Austin Falls are a few hikes nearby. Behind Timeless Tavern in town, the 133 mile Northville-Placid Trail begins.
