No smoking here, no smoking allowed inside. Location information It's about ten minutes from Kansas City's International airport. It's a seven minute drive from I29 to the house. I'm about 20 minutes from downtown Kansas City and about 12min from KCI, the main airport. You're welcome to the common areas on the first floor (living room, dining room, kitchen), any of the outside porches, back yard and wooded area. You're welcome to some use of the kitchen facilities, like the dishes and silverware - like if you have several items you want to refrigerate, want to use the microwave or make coffee (lets discuss/agree first: I might have to move stuff around in the fridge; use should be during normal awake hours; you clean up after yourself; assumes you know how to use kitchen equipment appropriately. (Recently I learned I need to say I reserve the right to revoke kitchen privileges based on my observation of how guest respects (or not) property anywhere in the house.) I work at home and schedule appointments outside the house. While I'm mostly flexible, I'll need to know arrival and departure times in advance so I can meet you and plan my time. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood, a couple minutes walk from a lovely city park. I'm less that five minutes from a nature sanctuary and less than 10 minutes from downtown Parkville, Park University, and the Missouri River. It's about a five minute drive to the closest public transit that I know of. It's less than ten minutes to Hwy 29, 152 and 435 and just a few minutes to Hwy 45. Be in by 12:30 am if you plan to spend the night.
