Penthouse/Ancestral/5 beds/Terrace/Parking/AC
Description
The space Located on the top floor (3/3) of a century-old building, the penthouse is a warm and open place. Authentic stone walls and exposed beams are found in the apartment as well as cathedral ceilings in the living room. *** NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG KIDS!*** Thank you for considering our apartment for your stay. We kindly request your cooperation in keeping noise levels at a respectful level during your stay if travelling with children. We mention in the advertisement that the apartment is not suitable for children under 12 years old because of: -the guard around the stairs connecting the apartment entrance door and the living room leaves enough space for a child passes between the metal wires, which are horizontal. -the large roof terrace is accessed by quite steep steps without a handrail and that the first 3 steps are ladder style -One of the single beds in the 3rd bedroom is on a 1.5meters platform with no railing. -In the past, we have had issues with children running, jumping, and making loud noises in the apartment. As the apartment is located in a 100years old residential building, excessive noise can be disruptive to our downstairs neighbors. We understand that children love to play and be active, and we welcome families to stay with us. However, to maintain a peaceful environment for everyone, we kindly ask that you ensure your children do not run or make loud noises in the apartment as noise and impacts travel easily between units. If everything seems ok with you and you agree to these details, we would be happy to you and your family. Neighborhood: The apartment is located in the bustling popular district of Saint Roch, where different social classes mix, which creates a dynamic neighborhood located not far from Old Quebec. The neighborhood is full of life with restaurants, bars and various shops. A particularly popular spot for foodies, the excellent restaurants adjoin the small neighborhood restaurants where you eat well at very good prices, while the microbreweries brew refreshing original beers. If you need recommendations for activities in the neighborhood, Quebec City and its surroundings, I will be happy to give you my favorite addresses so that you can experience the city like a local. We are proud to be in a neighborhood (Saint-Roch) which brings together a wide mix of social classes in its population. People in need benefit from a shelter for disadvantaged and homeless people as well as a soup kitchen in the neighborhood, so you will certainly come across people in need around the YMCA Decorative ethanol fireplace: gaz not included Other things to note The apartment is not suitable for children under 12 years old because the guard around the stairs connecting the apartment entrance door and the living room leaves enough space for a child passes between the metal wires, which are horizontal. Please note that the large roof terrace is accessed by quite steep steps without a handrail and that the first 3 steps are ladder style The apartment has a mural AC in the living room/kitchen area (it is an open space) but not in 2 of the 3 bedrooms, we have portable fans there. The 3rd bedroom has a portable AC unit connected to the window. The bedrooms and the living room are on the same level and the mural AC is an 18 000btu unit, so it is suitable to cool down the entire apartment. If you use the big ceiling fan in the living room it is going to help circulate the cold Air into the entire apartment.
