Farm stay in Springfield

Located in the heart of the Bourbon Trail. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of country living, but still close enough to cities. When you first arrive, you will find the entrance on a large, covered patio. There is a gas grill there for your use. We also have a fire pit, so bring wood. Feel free to take a walk down to the river at the bottom of our property. There you will find a park like setting where you can relax and listen to nature if you like. Eggs, bacon and biscuits provided. The space The apartment is in a horse barn in the heart of Kentucky. Gorgeous panoramic views. The apartment is on two floors. On the ground floor is the small kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. Upstairs is the bedroom/sitting area. We have one queen size bed. There is a small fenced in yard with a fire pit. You must provide the wood. I am sorry there is no Wi-Fi, but a hot spot on your phone works well. We do allow dogs. There is no extra charge. Just please let us know if your traveling with a dog. Guest access There is a small kitchen with a fridge and stove. So, if you want to bring groceries for your stay, please feel free to do so. On the porch is a gas grill for cooking out. My horse is not available to be ridden. There is a stable in Harrodsburg that does do trail riding. I will be happy to provide the phone number so that you can make a reservation. Other things to note Markers Mark is roughly 15 miles from the barn. Also, there are some wineries in our area that are second to none. There are golf courses and parks nearby as well. Just outside Bardstown there is the Bernheim Forest. They have many hiking trails. I would be remiss to not mention Shaker Village. It boasts of having over 1000 acres with trails. There is a restaurant there, but you need to have reservations. Also, GPS may not be accurate in this area. So, just give me a call if you have any issues finding our place.
