Welcome to our home in the Skagit River flats of WA state. Whether you are here to explore the Skagit Valley, on a work trip, or simply need a restful place on a journey, we hope to make your stay memorable. Your cozy self-contained suite is freshly finished. Just five minutes from I-5, our quiet property looks over fields and trees. Tulip and daffodils and farms are just a country mile away. The space Our farmhouse is situated on 2.5 acres, surrounded on almost 3 sides with a 45 acre tree nursery. Across the road, is a huge farm field, then trees, then hills. And yet, less than a mile and a half to old downtown where you will find terrific restaurants and lovely shops. Our guest space is recently renovated from a storage shed that is connected to the house. The accent wall and trim of rustic wood is pulled from the old hay bunker. A compact kitchen area provides a microwave, fridge, and a sink outside the bathroom. A small table and set of chairs at the south window is perfect for a meal (or working remotely on a laptop) looking out to the yard and garden. Opposite the table, is an electric fire and chairs to sip a cup of coffee and read a book. We keep a small eclectic set of books and games for your use. In season, there will be fresh flowers in the suite. From the garden, watch the sunrise over the hills or from the suite - or the wayback patio - watch the sunset. Guest access You have a self-contained suite attached to our home. You are welcome to explore the property. Walk through the gardens, move some chairs to see enjoy a sunrise or sunset, pick some berries or flowers. We are glad to have you as our guests and want you to feel at home.
