Both are newly remodeled, share a driveway, and are right on Lake Estes less than a mile from the center of town. Fishing right off the property. At this time, by AirBnB rules- NO PARTIES are allowed because of COVID. *PLEASE READ "other things to note"* The space There are two houses/cabins on the property. This listing is for ONE of the two, whichever is available. The cabins overlook Lake Estes with the best view in the area! Wonderful updated with new kitchens, new appliance, this cabin has Scandinavian style wood floors both have large rock fireplaces. Both places have large updated decks with more than 900 sqft of outdoor spaces and grills available year round. Gorgeous, cozy, great for family reunions! Estes Lake Cabin (1895 on L of driveway): 5 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms. 120" projection TV. DISH TV. Wifi. Hot tub. Two decks, upper wraps around the house. W/D. Themed bedrooms & beetlekill pine floors. Board games. Foosball. New kitchen. (hot tub on request w/ additional chemical fee; cleaned on Mondays) Estes Lake Haus (1907 on R of driveway): 5 bedrooms; 2 full, 2 half bathrooms. 120" projection TV. DISH TV. Wifi. Hot tub. Large 30x30 deck space. W/D. Themed bedrooms. Outdoor propane fire. (hot tub on request w/ additional chemical fee. The hot tub is cleaned on Mondays) The cabins are private but we live close by and can meet or check in if guests need anything. Less than 1 mile from the center of town, surrounded by a 3.6mi walking trail. Private but easy access to everything and accessible winter driveways. Walk or bike to town. In the summer a free shuttle drives by the front of the house. Guest access Guests have full and private access to the house except for owners closets. Guests have their own decks, patio, and parking spaces but share a common 2 1/2 acre lakefront property. Please do not park in front of the dumpsters Other things to note Each cabin is newly updated. Each has a sleep number bed in the master of bedroom on the main level. This cabin has a brand new kitchen and bathrooms. Both have walk out lower levels onto deck/patio. New 6 person hot tub. Electric Fireplaces. Right on the lake with excellent fishing. 3 mile walking trail around the lake that runs across the driveway. 8 sets of snowshoes in each cabin for free use by guests in the winter. Incredible views!!! PLEASE NOTE: our four cabins between Grand Lake and Estes Park are a 35 year family business. We are not a hotel, we do our best to make sure that every guest and group are happy. The cabins are in the mountains and therefore small furry and crawly friends may visit from time to time, especially in the late fall. All of our cabins are NO SMOKING inside or on the decks and patios, the Rocky Mountains are under constant fire danger and our cabins are all made of wood. We also want to respect the smells and preferences of other guests. If our onsite managers smell smoke of any type then the entire deposit is forfeit. Our cabins in Estes Park are on well systems. That means the sinks can have streaks when clean and the HOT TUBS can be off color as the minerals react with the cleaning chemicals. PETS: dogs are possible in BOTH Estes cabins, however, they must be requested and only very well behaved ones are welcome. This cabin (1895 on the L) can have only 1 dog, the other (1907 to the R) up to 3. Please keep dogs crated when not home. We do not have dog runs at this time. Please clean up after dogs. We employ an additional cleaning service for pet dander and rug shampoo so that our allergic guests are also happy. We charge a $40 pet fee for EACH dog that is not usually reflected in the price quote. PROPANE TANKS: our new cleaners do not have the ability to carry the tanks so we try and fill these when we can and will always have 2-3 on site but guests may need to take them to trade out or have them refilled themselves. This can either be done at the Safeway up 36 or the KOA around the corner off Mall Rd. TRASH: we have a large dumpster for bagged trash to the left inside an open shelter and another for UNBAGGED recycle (cans/bottles/newspaper/etc) on the right. Please use these properly. FIRE: we have gas fire pits available toboth houses (also on propane tanks), wood burning is not allowed in Estes Park vacation rentals. PARKING: we have room for 4 vehicles at each house, but we want to be good neighbors so we only permit 3 without contacting us before you book so we can make sure that both cabins aren't simultaneously full. PARTIES/EVENTS: We do not allow weddings or large events at the cabins CAMERAS: we have live closed circuit cameras on the driveways, the main decks, and the water front. These are for safety and security and are only accessed by the owner. There are no recording devices anywhere inside the cabins or hot tub areas. All recordings are deleted after 30 days. OTHER: our cable is provided by DISH which updated the boxes 9/21, our wifi is separate (password "blackbear”.both we hope to replace in 2022 when the town brings Broadband to the property. For checkin, we are currently complying with Covid restrictions and keeping it touches, you will be sent a code for the front door before arrival. Finally, at the end of your stay please leave any still good food or unopened items in the fridge and on the counter inside for the cleaners, they appreciate these items and we'd rather they had them than our local bears!
