The cabin is a very comfortable one-bedroom, one-bath, upper peninsula home. There is a large entryway to leave all your gear in. The cabin is stocked with all the cooking utensils and pans you will need including a coffee grinder. The wood stove is wonderful to sit next to on a cold day. The cabin is private, facing away from the road. There is a fire pit for your evening hot dog and marshmallow roasts while enjoying the sounds of the whip-poor will. The space This cabin is in an ideal vacation location. It is on 20 acres, offering plenty of privacy. There are trails on the property to walk or ride your ATVs. From your porch, you can see deer, grouse, snowshoe rabbits, woodchucks, and other wildlife. Moose have even been spotted at the cabin. It is just 35 minutes from the bridge, 50 minutes to Tahquamenon Falls, 45 minutes to the Soo Locks, and 90 mins to Pictured Rocks or Oswald's Bear Ranch. It is also just three miles or less from the North Country hiking trail, trout fishing, ORV trails and snowmobile trails. Spring and fall trout fishing are great in the area. There are many lakes in the area for swimming and fishing. Guest access There is plenty of trailer parking and it has a circle drive with two entrances to the road. Other things to note Next to the cabin is a very cute bunkhouse which will sleep 8 on four full beds. Sprint and T-mobile cell service work well, other services are spotty. We have a no smoking and no pets policy.
