Location!! Stay in the heart of New Braunfels! Stein Haus & Casita are located in the highly desirable downtown/ historic district area! Walking distance to the city plaza, downtown events & farmers market, The Sophienburg & McKenna Children’s Museums & many of the best restaurants in town! Stein Haus is a 2 bedroom 1 bath home and The Casita is a 1 bd/ 1 bath apartment w desk & kitchenette located approx 20ft behind Stein Haus. Both spaces are included in your reservation. The space Stein Haus & The Casita both offer a comfortable place to stay in the heart of New Braunfels! Live like a local! Stein Haus is a cozy, comfy 1920’s rock home with a cottage vibe. It has a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom. Tub/shower bathroom. It boasts beautiful original hardwood floors, 10 ft ceilings, tankless hot water heater, new insulated windows, a fully appointed kitchen, electric induction stove/ electric convection oven for home cooked meals if you choose. Both the Haus and Casita are included in your reservation. Guest access The entire property is available for your use with a fenced yard with locked gate. No storage available. Other things to note Guests can not lease out any part of the property to others during their stay. There are large beautiful pecan trees on the property and the surrounding properties. There is a whitetail deer heard that roams the city, please do not feed or attempt to interact with them. The bucks can be protective of the females and during mating season particularly so. Same with the females during fawn season. Keep your dogs on a leash at all times when not in the back yard and do not let them harass the deer. Non refundable $200 pet fee for the first 2 dogs, additional $50 for the 3rd dog due before checkin The Haus rugs are removed for reservations with dogs, Dogs must be trained to use the restroom outside only, no pee pads allowed. Keep yards free of dog waste. This is the foothills of the Texas Hill country please expect to occasionally see a variety of wildlife and insects around the area. At times insects may make their way inside the structures, it’s very hard to avoid them. The property is treated professionally, often insects will be found on their backs after coming in contact with the pest control product. We provide some mosquito deterrents are your use during your stay.
