Nestled near the Delaware River, our Catskill hideaway offers picturesque Mountain Views. Conveniently situated in the heart of the Catskills, it's a short drive to many destinations. Cozy enough for one, spacious enough for five, it is a destination location that will have you experiencing the true serenity & tranquility of the Catskill Mtn's. Watch the sun rise and set from the porch, enjoy starry nights, sit around the campfire, a place where timeless memories are made. The space Meticulously designed to integrate the vibe of the Catskills with the perfect blend of a modern, rustic, farmhouse feel. The home includes a covered front porch with benches, tables and chairs to enjoy the scenic Mountain View while watching the sun rise and set, listening to your favorite music, sipping on your favorite beverage. A Fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials at your disposal. A Very comfortable living room which includes a wood burning stove, with enough firewood to get you started, (more available on site) a large 85 inch ROKU TV loaded with all your favorite streaming apps, If you need one that isn't there, simply download it. a few games, crayons and paper for children as well. There are two bedrooms, the first is a full size bed with a 60 inch ROKU TV, again loaded with your favorite apps for streaming to your hearts desire. A second Bedroom which includes three twin size beds, one being a trundle. It also includes a 60 inch ROKU TV and a full size mirror in case you need it. All the beds are made with freshly cleaned sheets, pillows and blankets. The bathroom is well equipped with a full size shower, large mirror, shampoo/conditioner, body wash and soap. A blow dryer, first aid kit, extra toilet paper and there are plenty of towels for your use. extra towels are above washer and dryer. There is a wash machine and dryer for your use and we've also included detergent for you. In the backyard there is a fire pit with benches, and extra chairs are available for you. There is a rack of firewood for your use. There is a picnic table, (tablecloth located in the kitchen if you choose) as well a a BBQ grill (BBQ utensils and cutting boards in the kitchen) There is a pond on the property which we will be stocking with bass for fishing in the spring. The east branch of the Delaware river is a very short walk from the house where you can fish, kayak or just bring some chairs down and enjoy the view. We also have three bicycles available if you'd like to ride down to the river. The home sits on 54 acres of land, with an additional 600 acres of state land attached. There are many trails and you are welcome to hike them all. We also have a sugar house where we produce maple syrup every year, (End of March or so) if you'd like to learn how syrup is made, we are happy to give you the tour any time of year. There are free range chickens on the property and right in front of the home we have started to build an apple orchard ( no apple yet, this definitely takes some time) There are a couple of grocery stores nearby, (In Delhi and Stamford) about a 10 minute ride, Restaurants, specialty stores, cafes, wineries, farm stands where you can pick up additional "local" milk, eggs, cheese, steaks, hamburger meat etc There is much to do here to keep your days full of adventure, and we will send you a link to our online guest book to help you map out your visit here in the Catskill Mountains. *Specific guidelines during hunting season apply for everyones safety. Guest access Entire home and surrounding property Other things to note Indoor Fireplace: Wood only provided between Nov 1st and Apr 1st. Generous amount of wood provided, any wood needed after that is $6 per bundle (please note bundles do not equate to the amount of wood initially provided). Outdoor fire pit: Wood provided all year. Any additional guests over 2 will be a charge of $15/person/night. Electric vehicles that are charged on the premises will be an additional cost of $5 night. Please note there is a charging station 10 minutes down the road in Delhi. Guests are not permitted to use land for hunting.
