The space Natural Stone fireplace décor and hard-wood cabin has room for little ones too, there is a plug-in electric blowup Queen bed or use the couch for tweens. Kitchenette has full size refrigerator, micro-wave, plug-in stove, toaster oven/ air fryer, coffee maker/tea hot water maker. Or grill outside! Kitchen set-up with pots and pans, plates, utensils, mugs & glasses. (no sink in kitchen). Guests have the ground floor so Private bathroom. No shared spaces. New Queen mattress bed. HEAT/AC is a Mitsubishi Mini-split, you must have the remote on heat and NOT on FAN for the 1st floor to be warm. Nearby hiking trails are prolific. Hike the Profile Trail on Grandfather Mountain or day hike Roan Mtn or Linville Gorge. Zip lines in Seven Devils. Appalachia Skiing/snow boarding, tubing and ice skating at Beech Mtn, and/or ski Sugar Mtn which has a longer run but less pitch, yes Beech Mtn is more challenging! Banner Elk is 6 miles away down Hwy 194. New Alpine Coaster in Banner Elk for daredevils. Fishing in the Toe River, Elk or Watauga Rivers or play golf. We ask that you practice fire safety such as having the fire extinguisher at the ready, completely disperse your fire when fire building, thanks! And no funny business, please don't burn us down, to that end: no smoking or vaping and no pets. We don't care who you hug and we appreciate all color skins, we welcome all people, just no doggies or cats ( highly allergic!) STEEP gravel driveway. BE sure that the vehicle's tires are in good condition, NO BALD tires for your safety! 4-wheel drive and All-wheel drive is recommended in snow and ice conditions. Guest access 1st floor is guests' full use, no shared spaces. Other things to note Ggle maps takes you to the wrong side of Blevins Creek Road, I have placed a correction on Airbnb which shows the house is right above the Union Church on Blevins Road. Waze app takes you to the correct address. Also Lady Bugs! During certain times of the year, lady bugs rule here in the mountains and they are very good for aphid control... aphids are very bad for our Christmas trees, so if there are lady bugs in and out of the house, we just try to get them back outside, plus they are super cute :-). No poisons will be used to control them.
