The main door can be opened easily and leads to a sloped area that goes down to the lake. Guest access Private & quiet area, on a dead-end street with only a few homes. Escape to the Lake Living has a big cedar strip boat standing at the beginning of the driveway. There is plenty of parking & room for you to bring your boats, jet skis, ATVs, snowmobiles as we do not provide these. Year-round fun, located on Lake Nepewassi in Estaire Ontario, close to Sudbury, where there is something for everyone! You'll be staying in our very spacious walkout secondary unit that is in the lower level of our 2 2 200 sq ft bungalow. You'll have access to the huge dock/deck down at the lake as well as the shoreline to the left and right of it (approx. 150ft total). There is a bit of a slope to go up and down to the lake. Enjoy our beautiful region during every season: Spring Refresh: Take a beautiful hike, there are so many amazing hiking trails to explore in Killarney (1hr away) and in Sudbury as well. Walk along the Onaping Falls during the springtime melt. This is a definite sight to see when exploring our region. Catch musky, pickerel, pike, perch and bass from the dock or in the many bays on our lake too Summer Fun: Being on the lake is THE best way to make lifetime memories – star gazing, jet skiing, water skiing, tubing, boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing…experience it all on Lake Nepewassi! Enjoy a cold drink and jump into the lake from the dock, dive off our local cliff or have fun tubing and water skiing with your boat! Relax in the Muskoka chairs and watch the sunset while you enjoy a glass of wine on the dock/deck......priceless! Fall Harvest: Enjoy your morning coffee, spiced lattes or hot cocoa by the fire while enjoying the lake views and fall colors Explore the trails, scenic lookouts, take nature photos, and more during the fall. Winter Wonderland: Northern Ontario is a true winter wonderland getaway, snowmobiling, ice fishing, cross country skiing, ice skating, fat biking, and of course a winter scenic hike in the snow. Enjoy it in comfort while Escaping to the Lake. It doesn't get any more Northern than trekking the Snowshoe & Cross Country Skiing Trails in the wilderness and of course warm up with hot cocoa. ~Take to the snowmobile trail a mere 30 seconds away from your front door and enjoy the day snowmobiling. ~Head for magic on ice at Kivi Park just a short car ride away, skate the lighted path with your loved ones and enjoy the music playing, fresh pine smells and warm up with the outdoor fireplace. ~Experience winter fat biking one of the most fun ways to enjoy Kivi park, rentals available. Other things to note Included In Your Stay: Propane for the bbq and a generous amount of firewood is provided for our guests free of charge. 1 canoe, 3 kayaks and 1 stand up paddle board (up to 130lbs) available with paddles and life jackets available (suggested to bring your own). We will ask you to sign a liability waiver before using the water toys. floating noodles small floaties Lots of Board Games & Books Highchair, playpen, booster seat and exersaucer for the little ones available upon request. Plenty of parking available. Cell signal is available but strength varies depending on your provider and position on the property. Wifi is provided by Starlink and is very reliable. A desk can be provided if here on a workcation. Laundry facilities are made available to guests staying for a week or more with us. Please note that the last gas station is in Key River when coming from the Parry Sound/Barrie/Toronto areas. You then have to keep driving into Sudbury if you forget to gas up there. Sudbury is another 25 minutes away from where you will be staying. When coming in from hwy 17 (Sturgeon Fall, North Bay, Ottawa), your last gas station is in Wahnapitae. If arriving from the Espanola/Elliot Lake/Sault-Ste-Marie areas, please gas up in Sudbury before heading our way. Welcome to Northern Ontario, while at the property you may be exposed to various wildlife/insects, we, unfortunately, cannot control mother nature. Please don't leave the doors open as you can not only let in insects but potentially mice and our friendly chipmunks! We cannot be responsible for wildlife during your stay. You may see swans, beavers, minks, otters, geese, ducks, foxes, mosquitos, black flies, bats, raccoons and potentially even a bear (although we have not seen one on the property) be sure to keep all food and garbage inside and picked up as it will attract animals. 1hr from Killarney Provincial Park 30 minutes from Kivi Park 30 minutes from Science North 25 minutes to Sudbury.
