It’s not fancy, but if you want a home away from home, a comfy couch, a deck to enjoy coffee, or an oversized garage to tinker in, this place is for you. Close to Skyview lake for nice weather days and located within a block of emergency snow routes for not so nice weather;) Ideal for someone in the area on business or in need of short term housing while building or relocating. Close to healthcare and manufacturing. This comfortable home has everything you need for a short term stay. Quiet neighborhood, reliable WiFi, washer and dryer in house, and Roku television. The bed upstairs is quite high, there are two steps you can use to assist with getting in and out. The second bedroom and bathroom are located downstairs, as is the washer and dryer. While I’m sure that your pet is wonderful, I’m allergic and the backyard is not pet approved. Thank you for understanding. Please enjoy the home and patio/yard! The basement has plenty of room to spread out~ previous guests have set up everything from sewing to fitness! You’re welcome to use the grill, but please don’t put it next to the vinyl siding~ it melts. If it needs propane, Walgreens is the closest exchange. If you enjoy working in the yard during your free time, go for it! Lawn service is provided. I’m available via phone, text, or email. Excellent location with an easy walk to Skyview Lake and a 5 min drive to Norfolk Ave/downtown boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Brogi’s (behind Menards) is a favorite of mine for local drive through coffee! Walgreens/CVS is an easy walk and both Lou’s and Hy-Vee grocery are within a 5-10 min drive. The Norfolk Public Library is close (big windows and a fireplace:) The Elkorn Valley Museum and Norfolk Art Center are also within 10 minutes. You’re probably going to need a vehicle .... The corner of the basement bedroom can get damp in a downpour. I keep a towel folded under the carpet there because it’s easier to swap out a damp towel than to dry carpet. Extra towels for this are in the downstairs cabinet. There is also a dehumidifier available if needed and a large fan in the closet. If this is an issue, don’t hesitate to reach out and I’ll have the gutters checked! Lawn service is provided seasonally as is snow removal for heavy snowfall. There’s a shovel in the garage for regular winter snow. Tornado sirens go off I believe at 9 AM on the first and third Tuesday of each month. This is just a testing of the system and it is right by the house so it can be quite loud and startling if you’re not used to it. Trash pickup is the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.
