Other things to note We purchased our beautiful country home when our children were young and needed an escape from New York City. We were fortunate to find this gracious estate with a 17th century home and much land in a sleepy little New England town, which later became a favorite destination for the wealthy and famous. We have continued to maintain our NYC residency but prize our Sharon home for quiet weekends.
