Cabin on the River

Are you looking for a different type of vacation experience besides the beach and the mountains? Why not vacation (or weekend getaway) on the river?!? Covered Bridge Properties proudly offers this 1 bedroom cabin. Relax on the porch, take a nap in the daybed swing; while the kids walk down the path to the river to fish! Bring your pole! There are several local restaurants with a 15 minute drive from the cabin, Top Hat BBQ & El Molino Mexican Restaurant. We are only 15 minutes from 165. The space This cabin is located in historic Blount County. Blount County is famous for its numerous covered bridges, historical sites, and wonderous natural beauty (Mardis Mill Falls). Some nearby areas of interest include, Cullman- Octoberfest, Ave Maria Grotto, Hanceville- Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Guest access All parts of the cabin are guest accessible. Guests have use of anything in the cabin. We just ask that you put items like fishing poles back when you are done using them. The river is approx. 0.3 mile down to the bottom of the trail. It can be steep at times. Please refer to pics of trail. You will want to take some water with you; it is an adventure. At the bottom, you can continue to follow a path and find a good place to get in the water. Added: A recent guest noted that trail was more intense than described above. Use you own judgement as to whether you are physically up to the challenge. 😉 Other things to note Cabin is also equipped with a battery backup in case the power goes out. All of the lights labeled 12v that have the string can be turned on to provide backup lighting in case of power loss.
