Big Bear’s Den - On Lake Alexander

This spacious home is located on beautiful Lake Alexander just west of Merrill, Wisconsin. Enjoy the tranquil view year-round as you plan the many activities that this location offers. You bring the boat, and we'll supply the dock. Throw in your ski's or wakeboard, and don't forget your fishing poles! Three pound small mouth bass are not uncommon and the monster's of fresh water fish, the musky, are plentiful. Add in walleyes, crappies, northern pike and this location is a fisherman's dream! The space Water is not the only summer attraction here at Big Bear's Den. The house also offers direct access to hundreds of miles of ATV and UTV trails. When summer fades and the ground turns white, the rumble of snowmobiles can be heard in the distance. Yep, this home has direct access to hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails too. If you prefer a non-motorized adventure, Granite Peak Ski Resort is a short 35 minutes away (for the downhill ski enthusiast) and Nine Mile County Forest Recreational area, along with many other cross country skiing and hiking trails are also available nearby. Spend a couple of days, or spend an entire month (29 days) , you won't run out of things to do! Other things to note In the back yard a stairway leads right to the banks of Lake Alexander. Last year we added a brand new 32 foot dock right at the bottom of the stairway. It comes complete with a bench, so kick back and catch some rays or catch some fish! All conveniently located right in the back yard.
