Comfortable one bedroom apartment in a National Historic Register building in the Stockade District of Uptown Kingston. The Wiltwyck is located across the street from the historic Senate House Park and the Senate Garage. Within 1-3 blocks you will find coffee shops, Spectacular restaurants, boutique shopping, antiquing, museums, and more. The Wiltwyck is the perfect base from which to explore this historic Dutch village, the first Capital of NY State, as well as the majestic Catskill Mountains. The space This a full one bedroom, one bathroom apartment with living room and kitchen. You will enter the building through the front door and walk through the common hall to your unit. Our house is built into a hill, and this apartment is on the lower level, so expect to walk down stairs from the main entrance, but it is above ground and has full size windows. The window in the bedroom is full size but is partially below grade, it has a window well. This level is not the basement, the basement is below this level. Guest access The hallway is common to all guests, but the apartment is all yours. Laundry is available to our guests. Other things to note The Wiltwyck is located in the City of Kingston. We are in a beautiful, walkable historic district, but we are not located out in the woods where there is complete silence. There is the potential for noise from cars driving by, the occasional fire truck, neighbors doing lawn care, trucks backing up etc.
