**check out our new photos ** Nestled in the tree tops is a four season cottage with breathtaking views of Haliburton's popular Little Kennisis Lake. With vaulted ceilings, skylights and multiple windows facing the lake, you can enjoy a stunning view. The property is just under an acre with striking scenery of Canadian Shield rock cliffs and lake frontage of 140 feet. Enjoy hours of fishing, boating and swimming on a weed free, deep lake. Haliburton Forest is close by for year round enjoyment. Cuddle up on the couch with the warmth of a cozy wood fireplace. **Firewood included** Sleeps 6 comfortably with 3 bedrooms on the main floor. Bedroom one has a luxurious king bed and bedroom two is a queen bed, bedroom 3 has a single over double bunk bed. Bedroom 4 is a second-story loft that is open to below, with a thick comfortable futon and Apple TV to make this space another hang-out area during the day. There is a desk and can be used for a work area as well. **Bed linens and towels provided** The newly renovated kitchen comes fully equipped to create a delicious meal. Appliances included are a dishwasher, stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, Cuisinart Coffee maker and Burr grinder. The basement offers another entertaining space with a ping pong table, a sitting area with a tv screen for movies and Wii games. Walkout patio door with access to the side yard and steps to the lake. With complimentary high-speed wifi and cell service, this can be your office away from home. About 120 steps from the water with private lakefront. Down by the lake, we have a deck platform with lounge chairs and another area for bonfires. A long dock with full afternoon sun and deep water access for parking your boat. We have a canoe, an adult paddleboard, 2 kids kayaks and 1 kids paddleboard. We have a few adult and kids life jackets but we recommend you bring your own for the best fit. Kennisis Lake Marina (less than 10 min away) has boat and personal watercraft rentals. New pickleball courts and a fry shack, ice cream/coffee bar. A few other perks include, clean drinking water from a deep drilled well. Easy access to the cottage by public road, however in the winter months the road is usually snow covered so we recommend winter tires. There is a large driveway with lots of parking for your vehicles, ATV's and snowmobiles. Also available is a washer and dryer in an unfinished basement area. We are 30 min from Sir Sam's Ski Resort. We are approximately 5 min to the Haliburton Forest and Wild Reserve with 100 thousand acres of rolling hardwood forest. Adventure activities include the wolf centre, treetop trekking, groomed snowmobile ATV trails, mountain biking and Hiking. The stairs to the lake are not maintained in the winter so please use with caution. Guest access Full cottage is accessible and wood shed (beside garage). Other things to note Our cottage is right next to the Haliburton Forest. There will be wild life, please do not leave any opened food outside/inside or garbage. It’s important that patio doors are not left open, we would like to keep the outside animals outside !
