Red Dirt Digs is a comfortable, thoughtfully designed home for outdoor lovers in the heart of Cuyuna Lake Country. If you are an outdoor enthusiast looking to enjoy all Minnesota has to offer, Red Dirt Digs is the place for you! A short ride away from The Cuyuna Lakes Recreational Region's main trailhead, this charming home has been lovingly renovated and decorated to create a warm, and inviting space that offers flexibility for many different kinds of travelers. We are happy to share this gem with you! The home contains plenty of room for up to 8 guests. Two main level bedrooms have a queen bed each separated by a full bathroom. Main Level also includes front and back entryways, Living/Dining (with cozy gas fireplace), full Kitchen and access to spacious deck. Lower level offers an open sleeping area with four extra long twin beds for maximum flexibility, luggage area, small family/game room, desk for space to work remotely, laundry and 3/4 bathroom. All beds are memory foam and there are a variety of pillows to mix and match to your liking. The backyard is yours to enjoy. There is a fire pit, charcoal grill and a few yard games for your use. There is a parking pad and a 1.5 car garage offering off-street parking and lockable bike storage. We are permitted through the City of Ironton and licensed with the MN Department of Health so you can feel comfortable that our building and safety standards are top notch. The Cuyuna Lakes Recreation Region offers exciting/world-class mountain bike trails for all seasons, pristine tree-lined lakes perfect for kayaking or paddle-boarding, deep mining lakes with great scuba diving and wonderful trout fishing. Winter lovers will enjoy easy access to snowmobile trails and close proximity to wonderful cross country skiing and ice fishing. The cities of Crosby/Ironton have much to offer if you are looking for an authentic small-town feel. We have two lovely coffee shops, a brewery, candy store, donuts, Cykel Bike Shop, pickleball courts, restaurants, antique shopping, lovely city park with beach, great kids play area/playground, skate park, and bike repair/outdoor sport equipment rental for your convenience. Home offers full Kitchen, Living Room with candle lit fireplace/smart TV/movie collection, Lower Level Family/Game Room with game collection, large deck and outdoor fire pit. Home equipped with WIFI. We prefer to let guests have their privacy during their stay. We try to make ourselves available for check-in, but is schedule dependent. Short bike ride to Cuyuna Lakes Rec Area and Mountain Bike trails. Easy drive to Brainerd and Brainerd Lakes area.
