Ambleside Central

In the Lake District, Ambleside Central is a tall Victorian building, offering room-only accommodations with period features over three floors. Please bare in mind that there is no elevator/elevator. The stylish rooms are decorated with rich, colorful fabrics and modern art. Some rooms feature an original fireplace, and all rooms offer tea and coffee facilities and en-suite or private modern bathrooms. We however do not serve breakfast. The guest house is just 2 minutes' walk from Ambleside Bus Station and is next to The Lily Bar which serves great bar food with an impressive wine list. There are a number of restaurants, cafes and pubs just a short walk away - which can get noisy on weekends. Ambleside Central Guest House is just 20 minutes' walk from famous Lake Windermere, where a range of boating activities are available. Windermere town center and railway station can be reached in 15 minutes, and Grasmere is 10 minutes away. Free off-site parking is available around a 7-minute walk away. - A spacious family room that can also be either a double, a triple or a twin. It has a large private external bathroom with a bath and shower located directly across the hall. Other features include a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. It is on the first floor.
