With A charcoal BBQ all you need to bring is your personal supplies, food, fire wood and charcoal. Providing a super view of the Chisos Mts. With room for just 2 there is still plenty of space to get comfy. Parking is just outside your door and you will be within easy walking distance of 3 eatery's. We also have 5+ acers you can wander and even rock hut on. We live on the property and will be available if you should need anything but we will let you discover the area on your own. You will be within walking distance of many things to do, such as, restaurants and bars some of which offer live music most nights. Tour the Old Ghost Town and visit the Historic Terlingua Cemetery, the Perry mine site and Perry Mansion. Visit the Big Bend National & Big Bend State parks located just a few minutes away. Take a drive on fm 170 west toward Presidio Tx. along the Rio Grande for more spectacular views. don't forget the Famous Chihuahua Races a must see in March, and of course the World Famous Chili Cook off on the first weekend in November. While there is no local transportation you can get to most places in your car, you will have off street parking right out front . Even Bikers love the area as we have paved roads right to our location. YES! BIKERS are welcome! We can make great suggestions for a days activities. We even have a "You are Here" map providing a birds eye view of the area to help you find your way around, A souvenir you may keep as a reminder of your Big Bend adventure.
