Lakefront cabin, close to Baxter SP

Katahdin's Rest is the perfect Maine getaway. Lakefront home located only minutes to prime hiking in Baxter State Park (Mt Katahdin, and the Appalachian Trail). Our vacation home has a private dock for fishing or tying up your boat, public boat launch nearby, and waterfront on 2 sides of the property. Included in your rental is the use of 4 kayaks and 1 canoe. Relaxation and outdoor activities await, all that's missing here is you! The space Queen bed in bedroom #1, Full bed in bedroom #2, twin bunk beds, sleeper sofa. Large screened in porch with lakefront views. Guest access Full access to property: backyard, dock, waterfront on either end of property. Other things to note The cabin is within walking distance to the New England Outdoor Center and Katahdin Air (for float plane tours). We are also near prime moose watching on the Golden Road. Please note that there is ambient noise from the pump station on the lake that has been referenced in reviews, while it is not loud it is audible. Water is non potable. Cell service is not readily available in the area for all carriers but the house does have WiFi.
