The Traditional Cottage/Waterfront/Boat Slip/Pool

The Traditional Cottage offers a private relaxing atmosphere on the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway, with magnificent views of Masonboro Island and the wildlife marshes of North Carolina. The POOL level rental includes BOAT SLIP, KAYAKS, TENNIS COURT, and so much more! $275 weekdays $298 weekends.. The space The Traditional Cottage rents the whole poolside floor with one bedroom, large hallway, a bath, a large family room with bar, small kitchen, and dining area. The bedroom and family room open directly onto a 55 foot patio, complete with two swings, comfortable chairs, bar table and bar stools. Garden paths lead to the pool flanked by two pergolas, one with four rocking chairs, the other with table and chairs. The kitchen has a microwave, under counter refrigerator, under counter freezer, stove/oven, bar sink. We provide coffee/tea set up. We also have a Culligan water dispenser with hot and cold water. Fans in all rooms. This is a very special place, The Traditional Cottage has hosted two weddings and has been use as the party scene in the movie "From The Hip". We also have a boat slip twenty feet from edge of property, two kayaks and a canoe all for your use. Guest access The guest have 3 private entrances to enjoy the beautiful grounds or enjoy the roomy interior downstairs. We want you to be very comfortable and have a wonderful stay. Other things to note There are several different areas to enjoy. The fire pit area,the marshlands area and the poolside along with a viewing deck located and the end of the private marina. Yes as a guest feel free to walk to the neighborhood crab deck, sit in the sand, dip your toes in the water, or bring a boat and dock in our boat slip.
