30 Day Midterm Rental only. Our quaint waterfront two-level apt is in the perfect location to enjoy the best of Lake life. Located right outside the village of Greenwood Lake, you can relax on the waterfront property which is perfect for swimming, fishing, kayaking and boating. Our two story apartment is great for families, a small group of friends or a quiet retreat for two! *this is a LAKEFRONT property, meaning there WILL be bugs and spiders, so if you hate them, this isn’t for you.* The apartment can accommodate up to 5 guests. Guests have the entire two story apartment to themselves! The first floor has a full bathroom, a living room with a pull out sofa and the kitchen which is equipped with all your cooking needs. There is a SPIRAL staircase leading upstairs to 1 large bedroom (queen and twin bed) with a half bath. There are entrance/exit options on both levels of the duplex and of course, all rooms have magical views of the lake! Our waterfront property is the perfect spot to enjoy all the action of the lake! Enjoy the waterfront property WITH dock space, ideal for swimming, fishing, launching kayaks or renting a boat! There is plenty of space to take our two kayaks out for a spin (life vest also provided) and you could easily paddle right over to the sandbar where all the boats gather in the summer! In the evening, enjoy a campfire in the fire pit or cook out on the gas grill on our large deck over spectacular lake views. **Our apartment is part of a DUPLEX with dock slips which means there is one long term tenant next door and individuals who rent dock space. Our tenant has their own private deck but shares the yard and raised water front deck. She also has a mixed breed dog (boxer mix) who is friendly but you may see in the yard (attended) from time to time. You may see individuals walking through the yard to get to their dock slips but they will NOT be hanging out in the yard!** **To get to the back yard you need to go down several short staircases from the road (two short staircases if coming from the bottom level of the apartment). Additionally there is one step from the kitchen to the dining area and a spiral staircase to go upstairs. Please keep this in mind if you are traveling with an elderly or handicap person or small children.** **This is a lake front property- there WILL be spiders and bugs. You can expect them outside the property and some inside if you are going in and out. An unavoidable part of lake life!** Guess have full access to the entire apartment and grounds including the lake, kayaks and raised decks. Please note that the yard and raised deck is shared with next door apartment. Although each apartment has a semi-private deck. We're available by phone during your stay to answer any questions! We may also be in the area at the time of your stay and could be available in person, if needed. The apartment is on a main road which is where the second level entrance/exit is. However the apartment is built on a hill so the back yard (lake front) is private from the road. The apartment is located within village limits, making some of our favorite establishments walkable! Walk to the Helm for dinner and drinks, Doc's for pizza and wings or Jersey Paddle Boards for paddle board rentals. This is a duplex so there in another apartment on the other side of the the building. We kindly ask that you respect the noise level after dark. NJ Bus service to/from Port Authority is just one block away and only 1 hour and 15 minutes to midtown Manhattan. Our apartment can accommodate 5 guests and that is the MAXIMUM number of people permitted on the property at any time! (Please include infants and children in the number of guests) More than 5 people on the grounds must be requested and may be approved based on the request. The upstairs bedroom is accessible when you go up the spiral staircase but there is no door at the top. The common room on the first floor has a curtain that separates it from the hallway that the kitchen. LAUNDRY: Unfortunately there is NO washer and dryer in the apartment. There is a wash and fold service right in town (about 2 mins away) or a laundry mat in Warwick (10 mins). LINENS: Bed linens NOT provided. All other essentials are available at the apartment for guests (pillows, blankets, towels, bathroom supplies, etc) PARKING: There is only ONE Parking spot (perpendicular to the building) for this apartment directly in front of unit’s upstairs exterior door. Please note that no trailers or large transportation vehicles permitted). Additional parking can be found 1/2 mile down the road at the park and ride bus station. AC: The bedroom and living room have AC window units. There is no central air. PETS: House trained dogs are welcome upon owner approval for a flat rate pet fee of $75 (please note, cats are prohibited). We must be informed about any pets BEFORE booking to ensure approval. Any pets that are brought without approval will be subject to a penalty fee.
