Broadlands Windermere

Broadlands Windermere Award Winning Guest House, is in the heart of the English Lake District, now a World Heritage Site. Broadlands is a traditional stone built Victorian house built circa 1885 and is located on a quiet road 2 minutes from the center of Windermere Village and a pleasant 20 minute walk to the village of Bowness on Windermere and the Lake. Rooms feature crisp white cotton sheets and luxurious bedding, and an private bathroom with towels and free toiletries. Each room also benefits from free WiFi, a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Broadlands Windermere has previously been awarded 3 AA Gold Stars. The house has lovely views overlooking Ellethwaite Park. The local open-topped bus can be caught from the top of the road and the train and bus station is less a 10 minute walk away. There is free parking available on Broad Street and a public car park directly across the road. This property does not have a elevator. Guests must be able to climb 1 or 2 flights of stairs. Located on the first floor to the front of the property, this room overlooks Ellerthwaite Park and the hills towards Lake Windermere in the distance. It features 1 king-size bed and 1 single bed, and also a hospitality tray stocked with selection of tea, coffee and biscuits for you to enjoy. The compact en-suite shower room has towels and complimentary toiletries. The room is accessible by stairs only. We do not have a elevator/elevator.
