This spacious basement apartment with private entrance has everything you need to enjoy your time in MHK! We are committed to health and safety. We offer no contact check in and require at least 24 hours to completly sanitize the apartment between guests. Hosts live on premesis and are very responsive. Message us anytime! The space Our historic Manhattan house, 100 years-old in 2021, is charming and quirky. Originally a dirt cellar, this finished apartment space was added many years after the house was built. The apartment is very spacious! -1 bedroom -1 nonconforming bedroom with small window -galley kitchen -dining room -living room -bathroom with shower We have had lots of flooding in Manhattan in recent years, and the basement hasn't leaked a drop! 🙌 We have recently purchased this property, and it has been thoroughly inspected for radon, structural issues, etc, and property has passed every inspection with flying colors! Guest access We recommend guests take advantage of the on street parking on 15th Street, a quiet residental street nearest the apartment door. Guests can access side yard near the door. Once inside and down the stairs, guests can access a hallway, a living room, a bedroom, a bonus room, a kitchen, a dining room, and a bathroom. Other things to note This property is not handicap accessible and is not recommended for guests who are not comfortable carrying their bag down a set of stairs. Being located across the street from a school, we are within 1000 feet and located within a Drug-Free Zone. The consequences for using or trafficking drugs within a Drug-Free Zone are a felony penalty, much higher than outside the zone. Absolutely no drugs should be brought into our home at any time.
