Traveler - Heritage House Adult-Only B&B

Heritage House is a five bedroom boutique inn set in a historic home in beautiful Opelika, Alabama. We're located just a short walk from all the dining, shopping, and entertainment that historic downtown Opelika has to offer. All five of our tastefully appointed guest rooms feature a private bathroom, king size bed with luxurious Stearns & Foster mattress, a 55" Smart TV, an adjustable speed ceiling fan, dimmable overhead lighting, and all the comforts of home. The space With sophisticated touches of antique cosmopolitan décor, this room will take you back to a time when a trunk accompanied the traveler and a hat box was a necessity. Featuring in-room views of the impressive neoclassical columns, a private bathroom with tub-shower combo, 12 ft ceilings, antique furnishings, hardwood floors, and modern amenities such as a 55" Smart TV, an adjustable speed ceiling fan, dimmable lighting, and extra plug-ins for charging your devices. Enjoy a plush king size bed with 100% cotton linens, a light-weight duvet in consideration of that classic Southern weather, and a luxurious Stearns & Foster mattress. Thanks to adjoining doors, Traveler is a great option for groups to choose in conjunction with our Garden Suite. Room rate is based on two person occupancy and includes breakfast. Heritage House is an adult-only property. We cannot accommodate children under age 12. This includes babies and toddlers. PLEASE NOTE: This guest room is on the second story and requires climbing a staircase to access. This is a historic building and it does not have an elevator. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to their private room with private bath as well as shared access to public spaces in the house and on the property, including the grand sitting room, dining room, sun rooms, porches, and yard. During your stay The innkeepers, Leif & Dani, live on the property, but not in the main building so they are available to help with questions and issues, but won't be "all up in your business" unless you want them to be. Other things to note Breakfast is included with your reservation and is served daily at a chosen time between 8am and 9:30am. Your breakfast is made just for you. This is not a buffet or continental breakfast. We have a rotating breakfast menu so every day brings something new. More details will be provided at check-in.
