The cabin features three levels of living space, four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a well-appointed kitchen, a rec room, a playroom for the kids, a flat driveway (a luxury around here in the winter), and a large wrap-around deck with great views of the mountains and slopes! The spacious great room has an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, and plenty of windows with mountain views from everywhere. It's a classic A-frame style decked out with modern furniture and fixtures, a flat-screen Roku TV (Disney Plus, Netflix, and many cable channels included). The great room opens to the kitchen, which features a large quartz island w/ 3-seat bar. The main level also includes two bedrooms (queen and 2-twin), and a full bathroom. The upper-level is a spacious and private third bedroom (master/king) with a sitting area for reading and and attached full bathroom. The finished lower level includes a fourth bedroom with fabulous custom built-in twin bunk beds, a spacious rec/family room, club chairs, a flat-screen Roku TV (Disney Plus, Netflix, and many cable channels included), a foosball table, a full bathroom, and a playroom. The kids love this space! - For the kids - Every vacation home has a few board games and a deck of cards (this home is no exception), but we know how excited our own kids are when they find something new... so our playroom is stocked with blocks, dinosaurs, cars, puzzles, books... etc. So there is plenty to keep even the little ones entertained on a rainy day. We also have an assortment of gear (pack and play, foot stools, booster seat, etc.) to lighten your load and make your stay more comfortable. And if you're not averse to a little screen time on your vacation, Disney Plus and Netflix are all set up and remain logged in for our guests. We love the outdoors and open spaces, and we love the look (from the outside) of a classic rustic cabin... But inside we wanted CLEAN (our home ALWAYS will be) and we wanted modern decor and amenities. We offer high speed wireless internet access, two flat-screens TVs (Disney Plus, Netflix, and many cable channels included), and a fully stocked kitchen for all your culinary needs. - Things to do - We're located near the top of the Massanutten Resort, not more than five minutes from all resort activities including the ski slope, indoor/outdoor water park, Massanutten Resort pools, year-round tubing, two golf courses, go-karts, mini-golf, ice skating (seasonal), horseback riding, fishing ponds, playgrounds, and fantastic hiking. And of course, you can venture outside the resort to the nearby Shenandoah National Park, Shenandoah River, Luray Caverns, local wineries, breweries, lavender farm... etc. Options for entertainment in The Valley are endless. We've made a great effort to go everywhere with our own family, so that we can include in our house information the very best recommendations for you to get the most out of your vacation. - We make it easy - We always provide our guests with the kitchen, bath, and households essentials that we would appreciate. Linens and towels are provided, along with a starter set of paper products. Although we do not inventory these items, we also try to keep the pantry stocked with basic spices, cooking oil, sweeteners... etc. Just pack your clothes, a little food and drink, and your family and friends... and we'll always provide you with a great place to stay for your Massanutten vacation.
