Horseshoe Cottage at Clyne Farm Centre is a gorgeous stone cottage opposite our horse riding stables, ideal for animal lovers and countryside breaks. Enjoy amazing sunrises over Swansea Bay, an enclosed garden, and open plan living. Fully dog-friendly and perfect for families or walkers. Comfy beds, modern bathrooms, and easy self check-in. Double bedroom with ensuite shower room (WC, shower, & sink). Down 2 steps: Twin bedroom. Single bedroom. Bathroom (WC, bath with shower, & sink). Mobility Note: Horseshoe Cottage has two steps into the property. The open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area, and double bedroom (with ensuite) are all on one level. The ensuite shower cubicle has a step up into it. Ecologi works with a range of amazing reforestation partners to grow millions of trees globally. Need some more space? Gather your family & friends and hire our 400-year-old Stone Corn Barn & Kitchen. Located on the main farm site it is perfect for family meals and get togethers. For evening hire you will need to book a minimum number of our 7 farm cottages. Guest access You will have access to the whole of the Cottage and the enclosed garden. Other things to note Pets are very welcome. All pets must be declared. There is a charge for pets. Horseshoe Cottage is located next to the main courtyard of Clyne Farm. Around the same courtyard are 6 other self-catering cottages (Byron's Barn, Chapel Barn, The Dairy, Stables Cottage, Hayloft and The Old Schoolroom). The farm in total sleeps 35 guests. A short drive away are two further self-catering cottages The Keepers Cottage and Barn Owl Lodge. Each sleep 8 and can interconnect to sleep 16 guests in total. So in total we can accommodate 51 guests across the 2 sites. Activities on offer include horse riding, problem solving and Challenge Valley the Muddiest Assault Course in the World! As well as our riding school horses and ponies, there are also a variety of farm animals living on our family-run farm. Even when all cottages are occupied the farm is still a peaceful retreat from the demands of modern life. Take some time out and enjoy gorgeous views from the comfy sofas in Horseshoe Cottage. History: The main part of Horseshoe Cottage used to be where shire horses were stabled. These horses would have been a crucial part of farm life. Where the twin and single bedrooms are now located used to be a separate pig sty with an outside run. When the Haden family first took over the running of Clyne Farm in the late 1980s the old shire stabling part of the building was used for crafts courses for children and adults. Courses such as paper making, pottery, and stained glass work all took place in what was then called the Craft Barn. A pottery kiln can still be found in the garden. The old pig sty was used as staff accommodation and was called the Pig Sty! To create the cottage as it is now, a sunroom was added and the buildings were linked together.
