What does road trip gas cost? A nice meal? How about any run of the mill road side big chain hotel? A nice state park camp site? For about the same as these..without the noisy neighbors, traffic, rules, rangers you get exclusivity. An entire camp comes with this listing….pizza oven, miles and miles of creek to explore (No people), endless sandbars to sun bathe on. This place is not high volume, it is high value, for the right people, you know who you are The space This is still camping folks, no power. BRING YOUR OWN SLEEPING GEAR as if you were camping.... If you like camping and would like to not pitch a tent then this is the space for you. If you are an active outdoors person or couple and are looking for a very different place to get away to for the weekend...not too far from the city...then look no further. I do not rent the camp site to others while the tree house is rented so you get the whole area. If you would like to rent the camp site for other guests then contact me. Otherwise, the tree house is for those looking for peace and quite. This is like a private state park, no rangers, no other guests.Update: Our two sons have started their own little businesses! Kelly (yes...the Kelly that Kelly's Korner is named after :) is selling bundled firewood for $8/bundle. Max is selling fresh farm eggs and veggies. He will also be more than happy to give you a tour of his garden and have you pick your own veggies and/or fruit! Explore for miles up and down the creek and enjoy the endless sand bars and deep swimming holes along with the shallows. Use the natural clay for skin treatment and bask in the sun as it cracks and tightens up, sucking all the yuck out of your skin. Other things to note This is nature, so please be aware that you are going to encounter wild animals and hear them especially at night.
