Rose Rent Lofts is a residential apartment community in downtown Chambersburg, PA. The building is a former High School with original portions as old as 1824. Converted to 28 loft apartments in 2020, one unit is reserved for guests of tenants on a priority basis, then available to other Chambersburg visitors up to 2 weeks before their stay. This ADA accessible studio apartment has one parking space within the secure gated perimeter. This studio apartment is wheelchair accessible. The unit features a full kitchen with an adjustable height table for dining, cooking, or working. This studio has a queen-size bed, living area with small sofa, and ample closet space. Ensuite laundry is provided with a single combination washer/dryer unit. Television with cable service is included. In addition to building WiFi access, this suite has high-speed internet access via a CAT5 data line. In addition to the studio apartment, respectful guests are welcome to stretch out in our lobby area to relax, work, or play our 1870 grand piano. Guests may also enjoy the adjoining community room with its large-screen TV. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the use of our pool table. If you are a new visitor, our property manager will meet you to familiarize you with our access procedures and property rules. If you are a guest of a tenant, your tenant host will be able to show you our site amenities and help you settle in. We are located in downtown Chambersburg 2 blocks from the town square, where many local festivals and events are held* throughout the year (* please note that these events may not be taking place through the current pandemic, please visit the business-Chambersburg-org "Events Calendar" for updated information). There are several craft breweries, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance. A "rail-to-trail" park and pathway is 2 blocks away. You are within easy walking distance of downtown. There are multiple municipal parking lots and on-Street metered parking is available. You are provided one parking space in Rose Rent Lofts secured parking area as a guest. Guests will be given an access code for the security system and guest suite prior to check-in.
