In winter, enjoy the ambiance of the gas fireplace as you relive stories of the day's adventures with family and friends. Outdoor Fun (Spring/Summer/Fall): Bike along the nearby Stowe Recreation Path with our provided cruiser bikes, or take a leisurely stroll to the charming local restaurants and shopping areas within walking distance. Adventure-seekers will be thrilled with our proximity to renowned hiking and mountain bike trails, with options perfect for any ability. The two car garage can easily secure any gear needed for your explorations. For those looking to level up their mountain, gravel or road biking experience, several outfitters in the area rent high-end bikes, so you can tackle the numerous local Strava segments with the best equipment. Outdoor Fun (Winter): Stowe Mountain Resort is just a short ride up Mountain Road from the Village, boasting some of the best lift-served skiing and riding in the Northeast. Bolton Valley, Sugarbush and Mad River Glen are also within easy reach for day trips (all are less than 1 hour). Cross country skiing enthusiasts will surely enjoy a trip over to Trapp's Lodge (<10 min from the house). And for the ultimate adventure, bring or rent some Alpine Touring equipment to explore the many low angle backcountry glades.
