Charming Chestnut Cabin in Woods

*Winter bookings must have 4 Wheel or AWD Vehicle. This one-of-a-kind cabin borders the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Hike right behind the cabin, through the woods, to Dingmans Creek. A short hike upstream leads to George W. Childs Park with 3 tumbling waterfalls, a rustic trail system, and observation decks. A longer hike downstream will bring you to Dingmans Falls. DWGNRA offers swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, canoeing, and kayaking, all within minutes of the cabin. The space The cabin is nestled in a Hemlock Forest bordering the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The cabin is down a wooded path and very private although other cabins are nearby. A queen-sized bed in the back sleeping loft has a magical view of the forest. Opposite is a cozy office space with an inviting daybed. Relax on the living room couch with a sliding glass door view of the woods and deck. The cabin has a kitchen and bathroom with a rain shower (great water pressure). The space is open (the only interior door is to the bathroom) with a view of the woods in every direction. Please note: The bathroom and bedroom are on different floors (bathroom downstairs/bedroom upstairs). A wonderful, relaxing spot to enjoy nature. Lots of hiking, biking, fishing, boating, swimming, etc. nearby. The historic town of Milford, PA is close by. Antique and specialty shops, yoga, bakeries, dining, music... Or just park the car and nestle in with a campfire or a book on the back porch. An hour and a half from NYC, but a world away. Guest access One parking spot only. Although township regulations allow 8 guests, at this time I am limiting the number of guests to 3. 2 Night Minimum No commercial photography or filming without prior approval from the owner.
