Summer weekly only(6 or 7 days ) ; Long weekends 3 night min;Fall to summer -weekends only; Cottage is located 100 m (1 min walk) from Sandy Bay at Lake Huron in Oliphant. The space Serenity Family Retreat is a brand new, custom-built beautiful four seasons cottage. It was designed to be spacious, light-filled, with high-end finishes, and is tastefully decorated. Designed for comfort, relaxation, and creating memories. We provide bedding with protective covers, bed sheets for each guest, toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, some other small necessities, propane for the BBQ, fire wood for your first fire at the fire pit ( you can buy fire wood from local vendors), 18L reverse osmosis drinking water and basic spices (salt and pepper). We don't charge any additional cleaning or pets fees, but expect the cottage to be left clean and in good condition, garbage to be removed and stored at the shed. Just bring your favorite food and turn your dreams for great vacation or weekend getaway come true. The cottage is located just a minute walk from the pristine shore of Lake Huron at Oliphant Beach North in Oliphant (a well-kept secret on the beautiful Bruce Peninsula); please visit Google Maps for an aerial view of the shallow bay and the area. It is 10 min by car from Sauble Beach and Wiarton (Home of Wiarton Willie) and a 45 min drive from Tobermory and Bruce Peninsula National Park. The property is quiet and private. The area is great for swimming and water sports in the lake, biking, hiking, bird watching, golfing boat tours in the summer and cross country ski, snow showing in the winter. The space: The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all open-concept areas, with a generous amount of living space for everyone to enjoy. The space has a very high beautiful cedar ceiling, huge windows, multiple options of lighting, and two big ceiling fans for the hot summer and cool winter days (they create a light breeze in the summer and regulate hot air distribution in the winter). The layout of the main living area is perfect for vacationing families and couples. Everyone can have their own space to watch movies and shows, play games, read books, work from home (designated computer desk area), and even do their yoga practice! 58 inch smart TV with integrated Roku TV with hundreds of movies and shows for adults and kids, Blu Ray with collection of movies for kids and adults. Guests can use their Netflix account as well. The cottage can accommodate up to 6 people (max of 4 adults). Additional guests, other then the one approved during the booking are not allowed at the property at any time, unless approved by your host/property owner, as a day time visitors. It has 2 bedrooms (1 queen bed and 1 double, 2 twin beds - the second twin is a bunk bed and suitable for kids only) and 1 bathroom. The bedrooms are extremely cozy with beautiful furniture, ambient lighting, cedar ceilings, and cedar ship lap walls (1 in each room). The mattresses and pillows are covered with protective covers. We provide all the bedding and sheets that are responsibly washed and thoroughly disinfected, but our guests are welcome to bring their own if this is their preference. The bathroom has a shower with glass doors and porcelain tiles on the walls, a toilet with a soft-close lid, and a vanity with a hairdryer in the upper drawer. We provide liquid hand wash, soap, toilet paper, and some other small necessities. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need and has stylish quartz counter-tops and under-shelf lighting. It includes an electric stove, fridge, microwave, plates, cutlery, cooking utensils, toaster, coffee maker, tea steeper, water dispenser, and basic spices (salt and pepper). The dining area has a custom made life edge table and benches and a toddler chair for our young guests (available upon request). For the warmer months, the cottage features a spacious (16'x16') patio with a big gazebo, patio dining set, an additional seating area outside the gazebo , a propane BBQ, and a fire pit to roast marshmallows, watch the stars and build memories with your loved ones.
