Located in an area popular with retirees and those escaping the winter months up north. Close to Inverness city center, as well as Ocala, The Villages, Brooksville, Crystal River.....and easy access to Orlando or to the beautiful beaches in St. Petersburg/Clearwater. For a day closer to home there are historic sites in the City of Inverness, or the historic city of Ocala is conveniently located only 30 minutes away along with shopping and outdoor adventure at The Canyons Adventure Park, or a day float on the Rainbow River, salt water activities in Crystal River or a visit to the Manatees in Homosassa. The property is adjacent to the 44 mile Withlacoochee Trail for biking, jogging or walking, and close to golf courses, restaurants and dining, art and culture, horseback riding, cave exploring and other outdoor adventure with access to lots of lakes and rivers for fun on or in the water. Bring your boat and/or Kayaks. You’ll love our place with room to host a cookout on the screened porch, with both dining and lounging spaces, or relax with the sunset and a waterfront view. Possible activities are fishing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, zip lining, viewing the manatees, watching races at the speedway, etc. Pets: We take small pets with a pet deposit and prior approval; the fenced back yard gives them plenty of room to roam. If you've forgotten something, no worries, Sally will have it at the house. The kitchen was equipped with everything to make a quick meal or a full 8 course meal. The beautiful screened in porch is where you will spend most of your time. Loved the porch. The mattress in the master bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. Anyone who is considering renting this house, you will not be disappointed. We're hope to return next year. So sorry Sally, I didn't realize I had a time limited frame to give a review. There is plenty of parking for the property. 30 night stay minimum. Discount for longer stays. Pets allowed subject to approval. Public boat ramp is a few miles away - then tie up at the house. Basic house cleaning and laundry materials supplied to get you started. For long term stay, options for cleaning are as follows.
