We look forward to welcoming you and hope your stay with us becomes one of your own cherished memories. Denehurst Guest House is a traditional Lakeland stone house built in 1898. It offers free WiFi and parking and an award-winning breakfast menu featuring Cumbrian produce. Each of the elegantly styled rooms all have an en suite shower with towels, hairdryers and toiletries. All rooms have a Smart TV, tea and coffee facilities and a teddy bear. Here at Denehurst you can enjoy a full Cumbrian breakfast, featuring local bacon and sausages and free-range farm eggs as well as a Vegetarian version. Also included on the menu are homemade, waffles, croissants, porridge and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Cereals, yogurt, fruit and juice are also on the menu. We do of course cater for guests with a Gluten Free diet. Our house is located conveniently right in the middle between the two towns of Windermere and Bowness. You can walk to either town in approx 10-15 minutes. Bowness-on-Windermere offers boat trips on the lake and the World of Beatrix Potter. Each town has a varied selection of excellent restaurants. The popular towns and villages of Grasmere and Ambleside are both within 15-20 minutes’ drive or bus journey. Denehurst Guest House is a 15-minute walk from Windermere railway station. Our location is ideal for exploring the whole of The Lake District National Park. This is a double room with private private bathroom with shower.
