The space This is the best place to start your LA journey! Whether you are an actor, writer, international dancer, student or a traveling nurse..... This is the best place to be: A Shared-Room; Co-Living space in the BEST, Dorm-Style, Luxury Home in beautiful Encino, CA. A month-to-month, no-lease, opportunity to get you situated while establishing yourself before you move on to your own place to live. Here’s what you get when you move into our luxury home: - Over 4000 Square Feet, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2-Stories. - Daily cleaning and live-in managers. - A beautiful neighborhood, near gorgeous parks and tennis courts. - A 5 minute walk to Public Transit (Ventura / Balboa). - All within a mile of the house: Ralphs, Smart & Final, Gelson’s, Fat Sal’s, Laemmle Theater, Dunkin Donuts, Chili’s, IHOP and more. - A bicycle-friendly area but also great parking if you have a car. - Close to the 405, Ventura Blvd and the 101. - A climate-controlled, insulated workroom - a PERFECT workspace for students, writers, filmmakers and music producers. - An outdoor gym machine. - Gigabit Wifi throughout the entire house with blazing fast speeds. - A beautiful professionally maintained pool. - A gorgeous yard, surrounded by privacy hedges, landscaped weekly. - 4K Big Screen TVs in three living rooms and another in the workroom. - Apple TV, Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, Prime, ESPN+, HBO, BET+ and more… - Over a dozen desks throughout the house to find your space to hunker down, finish your screenplay, music track, movie editing… or just zone out with your favorite book, class homework or YouTube videos. - A permanent workstation option if you have a desktop computer or just want a workspace that’s all your own (An extra $50/month). - A huge comfy sectional in the main living room, plus a front living room and back living room. - A massive dining room table. - An office supply area with all of the necessities and a wireless network printer/scanner that is kept supplied with paper and ink so you can print out those audition sides, resume’ or screenplay scenes without having to go anywhere else to do it. - Filtered drinking water on tap, so you’ll never have to buy bottled water. - Premium, fresh ground coffee and sugar. - Kitchen: 2 ovens, 4-burner range, lots of counter space and a kitchen island. - High quality cookware, cutting boards, Chef’s Knives, Pro Mixer, 1HP Blender, Air Fryer and only the best kitchen gadgets. - A Washer & Dryer where you can do one load of clothes weekly. - All beds are twin size premium mattresses. - WE SUPPLY Paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, fabric softener, dish soap, hand soap, bed linens, cleaning supplies - ALL PREMIUM QUALITY. The only thing you need to bring is your clothes, food, good vibes... and the ability to follow our house rules and live in harmony. EVERY ROOMMATE goes through an orientation before or when they first move in. You’ll learn our house system and rules which keeps this many people living in harmony and comfort! 4-Person-Rooms or a HUGE 8-Person room with PLENTY of personal space! If you prefer an all female room or an all male room, then let us know or we will assume that you are okay with our coed room. If you play video games and you want to set up a video game system then you’ll have to: Rent a permanent workspace for an extra $50 per month unless you put your gaming system away after every use - remember you’re in a home with common areas where you must use headphones & can't be too loud (i.e. yelling with fellow gamers online). There is NO DRAMA in the house unless you bring it - so don’t bring it! Your new roommates that have been here awhile are always here to help our new friends. Bring your clothes and food and everything else is taken care of... Space is limited so send a message ASAP! …and PLEASE send some kind of an introduction... Just as you expect to know a little about the house, the house wants to know a little about you :) Looking forward to meeting you and getting you started on your new journey! If you’re coming in from out of state, then I recommend flying into Burbank Airport - It's 30 minutes from the house. VERY IMPORTANT: 1. If you are booking for 30 days and there is a tax charge, TRY adding an extra day and it could lower your price by a couple hundred dollars. They (not me!) charge a tax fee for under 31 days. For example Nov 1st-30th might be more than Nov 1st-Dec 1st. Try it and see! 2. If it shows that my spot is booked, send me a message because I might still have another spot open in the same house. 3. Read my reviews!!! They give a great idea of what kind of experience you'll have here! 4. It’s a no alcohol/drinking house. IT'S NOT a halfway/sober house; we just have a no-drinking/alcohol-allowed on the property rule because it eliminates issues before they begin. ONCE A MONTH, we have a get-together, event or holiday party where drinking is allowed but other than that, no alcohol is allowed here AT ALL. The house is designed to be for people working towards their craft, studying, etc. and when alcohol is in the mix, things get out of hand, loud and messy. So, if the place isn't for you because of that, then I understand - no hard feelings! It's a fun house, but NOT a party house. Guest access This is a shared home with shared spaces, but it's spacious and perfect for people who don't want to live alone for their first (or 10th) time in LA! Other things to note All guests get a MANDATORY house orientation to go over the rules and policies on their first or second day.
