Description
Enter house (exclusive of master suite, cooking appliances, side-entry mudroom and garage) A beautiful new-build home located on an ultra-private 18 acres nestled in the mountains of Waterbury. Private floor with Western pine flooring throughout, a private bathroom with a cast iron clawfoot tub & sink, two sun-drenched bedrooms & a large private common area. Multiple on-property hiking trailheads, breathtaking views of Camel’s Hump Mountain and unlimited mountain air. The space The house is a new build (2017) and the Airbnb guest space includes the upstairs (2.5 beds) downstairs exclusive of the master suite and the side-entry/mudroom (doors to these areas will remain closed during your stay). The garage is not a part of the Airbnb guest space. The upstairs has two bedrooms (one queen, one full) and a single daybed that is in a common area. There is one shared full bathroom upstairs and a half bath powder room downstairs. Guest access Guests are invited to use every space of the house, excluding the first-floor master suite. Additionally, there is no dedicated kitchen available for guest cooking. We encourage guests to leave any glasses, mugs or dishes used on any counter and they will be taken care of after their departure. A kettle and drip filter coffee set up, ground coffee and tea bags with desired with fixings, water/ice from the fridge door and any bites left out on the island are all for our guests' enjoyment at their leisure. Other things to note The host will not be present during your stay, but will try to be there upon your arrival and is locally available by cell if there is a need to check in at some point during your stay. The first floor master bedroom is not a part of the Airbnb rental for guests. The host will not be sleeping at the home during the guests stay. In the event that the host needs access to the home, the host will contact the guests prior to and arrange a convenient window of time to retrieve whatever is needed. The house is located on a private road that scales the mountain. A four wheel drive car is often necessary in adverse weather conditions and during mud season for the road. The speed limit on the road is 15 MPH. A dog lives in the house but will not be present during the guests stay. The dog does not shed and doesn’t have access to the second floor guest space.
