Cold drink in your hand, life is good today! You are going to have an awesome vacation!! ( NOTE: THE POOL MAY BE SHARED ON OCCASION, WITH OUR FAMILY. A SIGNED LIABILITY RELEASE IS REQUIRED AT CHECK IN ) The space The space is studio style with a King Bed. The house is on a canal, very close to the bay. Kayaks available (agility required to use the ladder). Towels, linens, soap, laundry detergent, dishes, coffee maker and Keurig machine. Fish off the dock. Manatees are common in winter months! Most awesome sunsets ever! Note: We provide coffee pot and Kurig machine. We do not provide condiments, coffee, k-cups or tea. There is salt and pepper. Dunkin doughnuts is two miles away. Sorry no children. Property has pool and boarders canal, no fences. Cat: There is one indoor house cat in the home above the studio. Does not have access or ever go into the studio. Maybe a “meow”from the balcony. His name is Maverick. We do not allow pets. Do to insurance requirements, we do not provide dockage for boats or PWC or the ability to have storage for PWC, boats, or trailers. Rates may be higher in peak periods and holidays. Holidays and Weekends: We reserve the right to decline partial bookings for holidays and weekends. Booking must include full weekends. TRAVEL INSURANCE IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT THE WEATHER. Guest access The studio apartment is below the main home, with its own private entrance, and access to pool and dock. KAYAKS: Kayaks are available for your use. One tandem and two singles. Life jackets are provided and must be taken with you, (Coast Guard requirement) but don’t have to be worn. Kayak use does require agility going down a ladder about four feet. Not suitable for overweight people. LIABILITY: By accepting the terms of AirBnB, the guests also assume the risk of all harm and or injury which may occur to the guest and their invitees on the premises or use of facilities, including pool and kayaks. The guest also agrees to release and hold the host harmless of any and all liability. RELEASE: GUESTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A RELEASE OF LIABILITY, UPON ARRIVAL. SMOKING: Allowed on concrete dock only. The grass is artificial. COOLERS: Styrofoam cooler for your use. Other things to note SMOKING: Outside only on concrete dock. Grass is artificial. WiFi: We do our best to provide WIFi. On occasion the Keys have outages that are beyond our control. We are not responsible for these interruptions and will do everything we can to restore service. FISH: Our fish have teeth and barbs. Be careful handling them. Especially if you catch barracudas, catfish and nurse sharks. Frozen bait shrimp is sold at the grocery stores. CROCODILES: Though rarely seen, they may inhabit our canal system. If you encounter them while kayaking, just stay clear. They are not known to be as aggressive as Indian or Nile crocs. No known attacks on humans. Don’t be the first! MANATEES: Common in winter months. NOSEEUMS AND MOSQUITOES: Depending on time of year. Prevalent after dark. Keep the door closed. Apply repellent. Noseeums like ankles. COCKROACHES: We do have a flying cockroach called a Palmetto Bug. Bug spray under sink. Keep door closed. FLYING MONKEYS: No problem, we don’t have any. .
