The Lake Hortonia Boathouse is a vintage 1920’s cottage only feet from the water, retaining it’s old school character with some modern amenities. Located on a private dead-end peninsula with only 6 other family owned cottages you’ll enjoy a private dock and 90’ of lake frontage for swimming, sunning, kayaking, or just relaxing. Two bedrooms with double beds and water views, an open first floor consisting of a large living room and well equipped kitchen, and dining room. Screened porch and deck. The space Relaxing and quiet, yet nearby several towns within 20-30 minutes. Essentials like bottled water, ice, food and beverages are even closer. Located in central Vermont for convenient day trips, dining, and other attractions. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage and property during their stay. 2 kayaks are available for guests. Other things to note This cottage, like most lakeside cottages in VT, is serviced by lake water. We provide some bottled water for cooking and drinking, but you will need to also bring or get some during your stay. The cottage has a half bath off the dining room, and a shared shower house located just across the driveway.
