Host Family Haven: Close to Coliseum/Friendly Ctr

Our private bedroom with bath in the hallway is your home away from home. This is a room in a home shared by the hosts. It is in a safe, walkable neighborhood close to Friendly Center, the Coliseum, GAC, the hospitals and downtown. The bedroom offers a comfy queen bed with topper, organic cotton sheets, room darkening shades, salt lamp, air purifier, and a spacious desk/chair area to get work done. Daisy is our uber friendly dog (not a barker) and the highlight of our guests stay! The space This private room in our home puts you close to everything! Concerts, Athletic events at the Coliseum, blocks away is Friendly Center, an outdoor upscale shopping center with a Cheesecake Factory, PF Chang’s, Cava, Flemings and many other restaurants and shops, a Harris Teeter grocery store, Starbucks, Whole Foods, post office and UPS store for the business traveler. We are close to UNCG (5 min), Prometric Test Center (7 min), Downtown (8 min), the Baseball stadium, Coliseum/GAC Greensboro Aquatic Center (8 min). Guest access We offer a keypad entry and access to the kitchen if you want to heat something up, enjoy coffee or tea in the morning, or keep something in the refrigerator. If you have plans to cook, please message me beforehand. There is no TV but excellent wifi available for streaming. During your stay I would like to meet and greet you depending on my schedule. I am always available via telephone/text messaging for any questions. I have provided information on local restaurants, breakfast places, breweries, and nearby services and things to do. Come and go as you please and enjoy your stay. Having hosted 7 exchange students, we welcome you ease. Other things to note Parking: on the street in front of the house. Choose a spot under the tree for shade and a cooler car. We have a tankless water heater and you will have to let the water run for a minute to get the hot water to the bathroom. Hair dryer and irons are available.
