Woodlawn Cottage is a cozy, sleek, modern home for travelers of all kinds (couples, business travelers, travel nurses, & families!). Two well-appointed bedrooms flank a full bathroom, fully-stocked kitchen, and comfortable living room with a huge TV. We are walkable to the Dekum Triangle, Alberta Arts district, Mississippi Ave, and several parks. We provide everything you'll need, from shampoo to local coffee to blazing fast internet. We offer stays of 30-60 days. Welcome! The space Our home is small and perfectly arranged for the modern traveler, with a beautiful backyard for enjoying Portland's unique weather. We grow tomatoes and herbs and raspberries in the spring and summer, and the front and back yards are full of lovely flowers. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal, as well as local tea and coffee. The living room is cozy and inviting, with a large sectional sofa, a reading chair, soft lamps, and a giant TV for steaming your own Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon account! The bathroom can easily accommodate 4 adults, and we provide high-quality shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, and lotion, as well as plush towels and washcloths. Each bedroom has storage space and beautiful local art, and the beds are extremely comfortable, with hotel-quality bedding and super-fluffy pillows. We use high-quality foam toppers over firm mattresses, resulting in cozy but supportive beds that you'll be dreaming about long after your stay! (You're welcome to remove the foam toppers, or ask us to, if you prefer a very firm surface.) You will find reading lamps, enough outlets to charge your devices, and storage space at your bedside. You can play your own music via bluetooth or the plug-in through the powerful speaker in the living room. A washer/dryer is available for you in the garage. We have a pack-n-play available for young guests, a high chair is available upon request, and there is a changing pad in the garage that can be used on any surface in the home. Other baby/toddler supplies can be arranged; let us know what you'll need. We hope you enjoy your stay!
