Hidden Gem, walk to Beach

We are in the well known Emerald Shores Community IMPORTANT NOTE: peak time is 5/30- 8/8 reservations are Sat -Sat 7 nights. Contact me with any questions. Strict cancellation policy. We recommend you get trip cancellation insurance. Pet/service pet friendly w non-refundable pet fee under 30lbs; low shed/no shed. No cats aggressive breeds, puppies or kittens. The space "Hidden Gem" is a caribbean style cottage located in Emerald Shores hidden within lush palm trees in our beautiful private arm gated community. We are a very short 5 minute walk to the beach and the main larger pool can be seen from the end of our driveway. One pool heated November-March/April. We are in the well known Emerald Shores Community in Destin/Miramar Beach area. If you are travelling with a large group, check out out other property "Selah by the Sea" in the same community of Emerald Shores. The home has 1 king bdrm , 1 queen bdrm and queen sleeper couch, we will allow max up to 8 guests each additional guest over 6 - 175.00 per week. or 25.00 per night. Bring air mattresses for additional 2 guests. Linen towel rental company nearby if you do not want to pack your own for extra guests. Your reservation includes a one-time linen and towel set-up , an initial set up of trash liners(2), bathroom paper (4 rolls) paper towels (1 roll), hand/body soap and dishwasher detergent pod (1-2). We do NOT permit towels or linens to be taken from the Property. We do NOT provide beach towels. Bring your beach towels. GOLF CARTS: If you plan on renting a golf cart make sure to tell the golf cart company cannot be delivered until after 3pm local time on day of check in and picked up by NLT 9am local time on check out day. Golf carts will be towed if left on the driveway/ property. Guest access The day of your trip prior to check in time of 4:00pm local time you will receive your codes to gain access onto the property private beach access and into the home sent to your email address you provide us directly,. Our guests will have access to their own private beach pavilion. Two pools. Tennis/pickleboard. Basketball. GOLF CARTS: If you plan on renting a golf cart make sure to tell the golf cart company CANNOT be delivered until AFTER 3pm local time on day of check in and picked up by NLT 9:00 am local time on check out day. Golf carts will be towed if left on the driveway/ property. Our beach area will never get overcrowded as our community has it's own private beach pavilion and armband policy in place. ARMBAND Policies and Procedures Children 12 years of age and younger are not required to wear an armband. Guests will have to provide reservation confirmation and email confirmation to the Security Attendant with a valid ID or photo of lease and ID taken with your smartphone. The HOA charges 30.00 cash or credit card for the home, not per person. 1. The Armband Policy will be in effect for the following date ranges and is subject to change based on need: • Mid March – October 15 (additional days may be added) Other things to note During peak season June - August we take reservations Saturday to Saturday weekly rentals only. Must be 23 or over to reserve the property. Check in 4:00pm, Check out 9:00 am local time. Access codes is released to your email address. Check in time begins at 4pm Central Time, Destin local time. There will be no discounts offered due to a late check-in. No early check ins. Late checkouts not allowed. Make, model, color of vehicle/s utilizing the driveway must be provided. There is no street parking. **Up to two pets dogs allowed under 30lbs non shed/low shed max 2 pets 250.00 per stay. No puppies /cats/aggressive breeds allowed. for service Animals over weight limit we will request documentation. **Pets must be supervised in the yard, if they have an accident it must be picked up immediately or hosed down. Please walk your dog in the community to go potty and pick up after them immediately. Pets not allowed on furniture or in beds. Pets must also be crated or in the pen you bring if left unsupervised in the home. Pet rules are in the house rules notebook. There are mandatory departure instructions listed at the home and 2 days before departure you will receive departure instructions to your email, Please follow all departure instructions. In order not to be charged additional fees, the following must occur prior to check out: No damage is done to the unit or its contents including the towels/linens. If you want to wash the white towels we provide they must be washed with whites separatey and no bleach to be used. Do not mix our towels with your colored beach towels or clothing. No items are missing upon the inventory check. (This includes, but is not limited to, transferring items to other units. BBQ must be turned off, cleaned and covered with BBQ cover after every use and upon departure. (Please make sure to clean BBQ grease catcher and place in bag and throw in garbage - no grease should be thrown down sink or toilets or food disposal) Empty fridge of all food items All debris, garbage and discards are placed in proper containers. All garbage must be bagged - no loose items in trash cans indoors or outdoors All soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and dishwasher run. There was no exceeding the maximum occupancy of the unit. There was NO SMOKING or evidence of smoking in a designated non-smoking unit. Unit is left in neat condition. (Note: Air conditioner MUST be OFF if you keep doors/windows open. If doors or windows are left open this will cause the A/C unit to shut down and you will be charged for service calls to A/C company. Upon departure turn fans on in rooms to circulate air. Note: You can rent chairs, umbrellas, kayaks and paddle boards at our beach with the beach vendor. Very small pop up tents allowed on beach but must be set up behind contracted beach set up chairs. (We provide chairs and umbrella, beach wagon at the home for your use as a courtesy) Gas grill is at home for convenience - Propane is at guests expense Pools: We have two pools in our community, The main pool and the North pool.
