The space The Juniper Yurt Cabin is an authentic four-season Mongolian yurt designed for those seeking calm among the trees. Thoughtfully crafted at a smaller scale, it combines the unique character of traditional yurt architecture with the everyday comforts of a cozy cabin—inviting you to bring less, slow down, and reconnect with nature. Nature powers every part of the experience—from fresh spring water, wood fires, and birdsong to towering trees, dark skies, and the changing seasons. Explore 72 acres of forests and trails, gather around your private fire, unwind in our shared wood-fired sauna, or experience our seasonal Forest Bath and outdoor showers before returning to the warmth and quiet of your yurt. Inside, you'll find a thoughtfully equipped kitchenette with filtered spring water, a wood-burning stove complemented by propane heat, comfortable bedding, an indoor half bath, limited solar-powered electricity for lighting and charging devices, and everything needed for a peaceful stay surrounded by nature. More than a place to stay, the Juniper Yurt Cabin is an invitation to embrace a gentler rhythm, discover the calming beauty of the forest, and rediscover the quiet that nature so effortlessly provides. Guest access Guests are invited to enjoy the Juniper Yurt Cabin, established hiking trails, scenic lookouts, our shared wood-fired sauna, seasonal Forest Bath, and shared outdoor showers. Wander through forests, meadows, and along the natural spring at your own pace while discovering the many Elements that make ReLive unique. One designated parking space is provided, followed by a short walk to the Juniper Yurt Cabin through the property. During winter, complimentary snowshoes (two pairs per yurt) are available for exploring the trails, with additional pairs available upon request. Other things to note Seasonal Operation The Juniper Yurt Cabin is a four-season accommodation designed to be enjoyed throughout the year. Every season offers a unique experience, from summer forest walks to cozy winter evenings by the wood stove. Forest Bath & Outdoor Showers Guests have access to our seasonal Forest Bath and shared outdoor showers with on-demand heated spring water. These experiences are typically available from May through October, depending on weather conditions. Powered by Nature Limited solar electricity is available for lighting and charging phones or small devices. High-energy appliances such as hair dryers, kettles, electric coolers, and other high-wattage devices cannot be used. Dogs Friendly dogs are welcome by request and must meet our resident dogs upon arrival. We recommend keeping dogs on leash in the evening due to local wildlife. Firewood Firewood for both the wood stove and outdoor firepit is provided, along with kindling, paper, matches, and a kindling maker to make fire starting simple and enjoyable. Parking Parking is located in the main parking area, followed by a short walk to the Juniper Yurt Cabin. Vehicles are not permitted beyond the parking area. Winter During the winter months, complimentary snowshoes (two pairs per yurt) are provided for exploring the trails and surrounding landscape. Additional pairs are available upon request. Occupancy The Juniper Yurt Cabin accommodates a maximum of three guests and one dog. Additional tents or outdoor camping are not permitted. Taxes Ontario HST forms part of your final Airbnb reservation total and is collected through Airbnb at the time of booking.
