A separate one-bedroom apartment is located directly below and may be occupied by other guests during your stay. The riverfront area and dock are shared between both apartments. Guests are welcome to use the dock for river access, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and other river activities. Please note that access to the upper apartment requires climbing a flight of exterior stairs. Guests should be comfortable using stairs, as there is no elevator access. Other things to note Please Note Before Booking • For safety reasons, children under 12 are not permitted due to the steep riverbank located on the property. • The property is located approximately one football field from an active railroad track. Trains typically pass 3–6 times within a 24-hour period, including overnight hours. If you are a light sleeper, you may wish to consider this before booking. Train enthusiasts often enjoy the unique small-town rail atmosphere. • On Friday and Saturday evenings, music from Shadow Lake Surf Club across the river may be audible between approximately 12:00PM and 1:00 AM. • Noel is a small river town with limited amenities nearby. Within town you'll find a pizza restaurant, donut shop, hardware/feed store, and dance hall. Just across the bridge are grocery stores, gas stations, a Mexican restaurant, and a local café. • We are committed to maintaining an eco-friendly property. We do not use pesticides, herbicides, or harsh chemical cleaning products whenever possible, helping preserve the natural beauty of the Elk River environment. DOG ON PROPERTY Please note that a friendly Boxer dog lives on the property with a family member in a separate apartment. The dog may occasionally be seen in shared outdoor areas and may bark from time to time. The dog is not allowed inside guest accommodations. Guests who are uncomfortable around dogs or have severe dog allergies should consider this information before booking.
