Tucked away in a mostly quiet alley in a super eclectic neighborhood, this tiny house was built before 'Tiny Houses' were even a thing. This remodeled and charming 626.5 square foot house is ALL YOURS! Close to downtown Colorado Springs, Ivywild School, the Caffeinated Cow, a library, restaurants, shopping, hiking and biking trails, leisurely and safe neighborhood walks- the sky is truly the limit on what adventures await you! A spacious south facing deck in front; a large, concrete, side patio with fire pit to the west; a small, cozy, north facing deck in the back; as well as a xeriscaped yard with beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, allow you to enjoy the outdoors and beauty of Colorado. You'll also have a glimpse of the mountains with the sounds of a neighborhood. There is plenty of off-street parking (room for 2 large vehicles). You'll enter the south side of the house from the former "back door" into the spacious (for a small house) kitchen. Natural accents of stone and quartz, hardwood and tile abound throughout. The kitchen leads into the living room, furnished for a cozy movie night or dinner in, with a work or dining table for 2, comfy couch, flat screen smart-TV ready for streaming to your heart's content. Both the bathroom (shower only) and the bedroom (queen) are off either end of the living room and have been fully appointed with your relaxation and comfort in mind. The extendable table in the bedroom serves as both a makeup table or work table (for those working folk). Should your travel needs require accommodations for 3 people, we have a comfortable roll-away, twin-sized bed available. A separate back porch (the former front porch) on the cool, north side of our house is just off the living room if you are looking for a quiet nook to read or just enjoy your morning coffee. A peaceful and quiet refuge from daily life, this is your own tiny house nestled at the foot of Cheyenne Canyon. Please note: We travel and live full time in our RV and are usually in Colorado visiting friends statewide from May through October. When we are in Colorado Springs, we park on the property. Parked on a gravel pad to the far west side of our driveway, our RV is out of complete view from the house, thanks for our large garage in between. You may see us watering our gardens mid-mornings and occasionally going in and out of our garage for our own supplies. Other than that, we will completely respect your privacy, unless you choose to interact with us. Guest access The entire house, including the front, side and back yards, are all yours! Other things to note We offer a comfortable, single, roll away bed for your 3rd guest. Contact host and it will be delivered at your convenience. Please understand that our house is not child friendly (lots of outlets, breakable items such as lamps, and a xeriscaped yard with lots of rocks and concrete) and though we love children we prefer none in the house.
