Welcome to our cozy guesthouse designed for two in wine country! Cottontail Ridge is a modern cabin set on a tucked away farm acreage in beautiful Prince Edward County. Enjoy stunning views from the picture windows & deck that overlook acres of old grazing fields. You may catch a glimpse of our namesake cottontail rabbits— or see turkeys, coyotes, fox & deer out back. On summer nights fireflies light up the fields and you’ll hear a serenade from crickets and frogs ;) The space Fully renovated with farmhouse+modern details, our guesthouse features a cooktop kitchen, and relaxing rainfall shower. The main area features an airy vaulted ceiling with cedar collar-ties, a super comfortable bed with organic linens, cozy couch & ottoman, plus 2-seat marble-top bar dinette. The cabin is fully spray-foam insulated and has remote-controlled dual heating/AC unit, so winter or summer— you'll always be comfy. We have Starlink internet (150+Mbps), so if you need to do some work or want to cozy up to stream a movie, we've got you covered. In the summer, BBQ on the grill or just relax and watch the clouds roll on from the private deck. If hiking or biking is your thing, we're a 5 min drive from the Millennium Trail. Want to feel some sand under your toes? We're 10 minutes from stunning North Beach Provincial Park. And if wine or beer tasting is of interest we're 10-20 minutes from many of the most popular wineries, cider houses, and breweries in PEC. In the warmer months, you also have access to our 1890’s hip-roof bank barn to enjoy your morning coffee and plan your day, or relax in the evening. If the front barn doors are open, you’re welcome to enjoy! Other things to note Prices shown by AirBNB will include HST and The County’s Municipal Accommodation Tax. You may see and/or hear wildlife during your stay— a wandering pack of coyotes in the back fields, many varieties of birds, deer, and wild turkeys.
