Our cozy home offers a great location on Clear Lake with only a short walk to the sandy Public Beach, as well as the Public Access where you can put in your water toys! The backyard has ample space for parking in the 3 car driveway, a fire pit, grill, and a small back deck. Across the street is a Clear Lake conservation area with pet friendly walking trails! There is a nearby dog park, and an ice-cream shop down the street. On the first floor you can enjoy the screened-in front porch with a swing and a dining area. In the living room we have a smart-tv, and twin memory foam daybed with a trundle bed. In the kitchen We have a new Culligan reverse osmosis system that provides delicious drinking water from the kitchen tap. On the 2nd floor, there is a lofted bedroom, a master bedroom, washer and dryer, and full bathroom. Out front you can relax on the porch, grill dinner, play yard games, and sit around the bonfire. You can take in the many great views while you walk or bike the 6.5 miles Clear Lake road. Directly outside the house you’ll find a well maintained pet friendly hiking trail. From the cottage you are only are a two and half minute walk to the public access where you can drop in a boat. A large sandy public beach is a 5 minute walk or a 1 minute drive from the cottage with ample parking. Across the street from the public beach is Pizza & Ice Cream shop. Directly down the street we have rights to a private easement where quickly walk the kayaks and paddle board (provided with your stay) to get out on the lake and explore! 15 minutes down the road is the small town of Fremont. Here you’ll find a small grocery store, liquor store, post office, dollar general and a couple of restaurants. 10 minutes from Fremont in Angola you’ll find your larger chains and grocery stores, and many restaurants. ** 2 Kayaks and 1 paddle board on location, come free with rental. -Trolleys provided so you can easily walk the kayaks/Paddle board to the water by yourself. -Pet fee: $100 up to 2 pets. in addition to the patio furniture, 5 plastic lawn chairs are provided for sitting around the fire etc..
