Garden Apartment in Maxwell Park

Hello! My name is Kaila. I'm a composer and violinist. I live & work upstairs from this apartment in Oakland's quiet, residential Maxwell Park neighborhood. The Garden Apartment has a large, sunny kitchen w/ gas stove; 2 well-appointed rooms: an office/living rm, & a bedroom with a comfy double bed. Artwork in apartment is by Bay Area artists or textiles I have picked up on my travels. Off street parking and an optional studio for an additional fee (see photos). No pets/no smoking. The space Welcome to business travelers, travel nurses and long holiday guests! I've lived here for over 30 years and love this neighborhood. It's hilly, which makes for great walks. If you're looking for a flatter place to stroll, we are minutes from the Mills College Campus who welcome folks to their shady campus. I teach violin during the day Monday-Fri., about 4-5 hours/day. I also practice in the evening but stop around 10:30 p.m. Off street parking--the driveway is for guests' exclusive use. I am following the Airbnb cleaning protocols. Guest access The apartment has its own private entrance so you can come and go as you like. There are two motion sensor lights in the driveway if you come home after dark. Feel free to hang out in the garden and relax. Off street parking. Guests park in the driveway to the left hand side of the house. Other things to note Some other information: 1. I provide cast iron skills and stainless steel pots (no teflon here!) 2. There are many state and regional parks within a 15 min. drive with wonderful hiking. It always amazes me how you can feel so far away from the city by just driving a few minutes into the hills. 3.
