Fantastic location in the Park Place Historic District of Niagara Falls, NY - a block off Main Street and 1 block from the Aquarium and the Niagara Gorge. A quick walk, half a mile, to the Falls themselves. FREE Wi-FI. We are permitted and meet all health and safety standards required by the City of Niagara Falls. The house is a large old Victorian built in 1890. It has been recently rescued and renovated. It has four bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the second floor. The HUGE living room, library and dining room, kitchen and half bath are on the first floor. It is fully furnished for you to make yourselves at home. The kitchen is stocked with all the items you need to make your own meals if you wish. If you do not wish to cook, there are restaurants 1 block away on Third Street and more near the Falls. The front porch is a lovely place to relax in the evening after a day of sightseeing or grill up some dinner in the backyard/garden. There is dedicated parking for up to 3 cars off the alley behind the house. Guests will have the entire house to make themselves at home. Since this is a whole house rental, we usually do not see the guests very much if at all though we are only 5 minutes away if they need anything. Park Place Historic District is a national historic district located at Niagara Falls in Niagara County, New York. It encompasses 89 contributing buildings. It is principally a residential district built up between 1885 and 1928. The dominant architectural styles are Italianate, Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, and Arts and Crafts. Downtown Niagara Falls New York has seen better days but is on the rebound. This is an urban environment in a rust belt city with a diverse racial and socioeconomic population. While many of the big old houses in the area are lovely and well maintained, there are others that are neglected or empty. It is an area that is slowly being brought back to life with new people and energy. One should not expect a resort like atmosphere within the city. The bus stop is 2 blocks from the house on Main Street and the Niagara Falls State Park Trolley is 2 blocks away at the Aquarium. We are fully permitted and certified by the City of Niagara Falls that we meet all building and fire codes required to operate a vacation rental. Many listings in Niagara Falls are not legal, so be careful. Keep your family safe and be sure to book with those operators that can show you their permit and certificate of occupancy.
