Killington area home - 4 seasons - hot tub and A/C

Set on a private road in the hills of Pittsfield, our house welcomes you year-round. Right in the heart of the Northeast’s best winter-sports, it's convenient to Killington ski resort, VAST snowmobile trails, Mountain Meadows cross country skiing and Green Mountain National Golf course. Furthermore, there are wonderful hikes and mountain biking to be done on the property and beyond - particularly beautiful in the fall. The space The house is a comfortable and spacious (2,000+ sq.ft) three-bedroom contemporary split into four levels. It’s a perfect place to relax and have fun whether you’re on your own or with a group. With the large living area, the dining room and the den on different levels, the house caters to large numbers of people yet still affords privacy. While you soak up the heat of the big fieldstone fireplace upstairs, the gang could be watching TV or playing games downstairs. The spacious deck on the back of the house features a 6 person spa/hot-tub for relaxing and soothing muscles after a day of hiking, biking, skiing, boarding, running... The deck adds summertime living space and is great for outdoor dining, with both charcoal BBQ and gas grills and a picnic table. There is also a balcony stretching across the front of the house offering picturesque views of the forest and valley to the sound of the nearby brook. The kitchen is big enough for family eat-in, and the dining room seats 10-12 comfortably. The two upper levels are especially bright and airy with high cathedral ceilings and numerous skylights. The two bedrooms on the lower middle level sleep 4 each and share a full bath. The "master" bedroom on the lower ground level sleeps 5 and has its own bathroom. In addition to the beds in the bedrooms, there is a sofa-sleeper (double) in the den and another sofa-sleeper (single) the living area. House can welcome a maximum of 15 people. Guest access You will have access to the whole house. Parking is out front - on the lower side of the house. You must state the number of guests who stay at the house. If there are more than 8 guests staying, there is a nightly surcharge for each additional guest. The AirBnB platform will recalculate the total amount due. The maximum number of house occupants permitted at any time is 15. Other things to note The prices quoted by me are exclusive of 9% Vermont State rooms tax and the 3% Vermont short-term rental surcharge. When you book, AirBnB will add these taxes to the booking total amount, and will pay it on your/my behalf to the Vermont tax authority. My VT State Meals & Rooms Tax account number is MRT-10099672. Though I advertise amenities (the site says towels, linens, soap, toilet paper), I can't promise that my bedsheets are "Martha Stewart" pretty, or even well organized. They are nonetheless clean and plentiful. You make your own beds. Those who would prefer more luxurious bedding are encouraged to bring their own. The house is child friendly, but not child-proof. Electrical sockets, kitchen cabinets and their often-toxic contents, sharp table corners, stairs, balcony, the fireplace & wood stove, as well as many other potential hazards to children exist throughout the house. The house is built into the hillside and is split across 4 levels. This means there are a number of stairs to negotiate which might be difficult for the infirm or persons of limited mobility. On the other hand, it's a good way to stay fit! :) The upper 2 levels of house are equipped with A/C for summer. The bedroom levels below benefit substantially. Furthermore, the bedrooms are partly below grade, so they stay cool even on the hottest days. There are ceiling fans on the main living level. Registration Details MRT-10099672
